Grantmaking Guidelines

Scope of Funding

Generally, funding falls into one of these categories:

• One-time grants – awarded for a specific project or project with identifiable beginning and end.
• One year grants or funding – for longer term projects with a possibility of additional years funding with resubmission of the program and agreed upon progress points.
• On-going funding – the Foundation is aware that an occasional project may require a multiple year commitment and is prepared to embrace such a project or projects.

We anticipate most grants to average $15,000 with occasional larger grants averaging $50,000. The Foundation reserves the right to offer funding at a level lower than that requested.
